Most Belek courses recommend a handicap certificate, but it is not always strictly enforced for beginners. If you don't have one, contact us when booking. We'll arrange your round at the most suitable course — typically at the last tee time of the day, where the requirement is most relaxed. We book beginners regularly and know which courses are most welcoming.
No — every Belek course offers club set rental from €35 per round. Pre-booking through GolfBelek.com guarantees availability, especially in peak season. If you play 5 or more rounds during your stay, it may be worth bringing your own clubs to save on rental costs — but for a first trip, rental is perfectly fine.
Expect approximately 4.5 to 5 hours for a first round. Playing at the last tee time means no groups behind you, so you can take your time without affecting other players. If you find 18 holes too much, a 9-hole round is possible at all courses — ask us when booking and we'll arrange a shorter round.
Yes — the weather, course conditions and relaxed atmosphere make Belek excellent for learning. Several courses have golf academies (Cornelia has a David Leadbetter Academy). The warm, dry climate means you can focus on your game without worrying about rain or cold. Most courses are also very welcoming of new golfers when booked through us.
A collared polo shirt (not a T-shirt), tailored shorts or trousers, and clean trainers or golf shoes. Denim is not permitted. You don't need to buy specialist golf clothing — smart sportswear is perfectly acceptable at all Belek courses. In summer, light colours and sun protection are important.
Contact us — we'll find the right course, arrange the last tee time and sort club rental and buggy.
